BIOINSPIR, your partner for the industrialization of ecocatalysis® processes

Ecocatalysis® has been developed for more than 10 years at the laboratory scale within the joint research unit “Bioinspired chemistry and ecological innovations” directed by Prof. Claude Grison. BIOINSPIR’s mission is to industrialize this platform by producing ecocatalysts® from plant resources and high added value biosourced molecules.

An activity in favor of the safeguarding of wetlands

Ecocatalysts® are derived from the collection and transformation of plant species, which can be classified as invasive alien species (IAS).

BIOINSPIR is an actor in the preservation of aquatic systems by actively participating in the collection of these species, in collaboration with watershed and tributary managers.

The direct valorization of the collected species allows us to support the efforts to control the multiplication of invasive alien species.

This program of sustainable and controlled management of invasive alien species is implemented for the preservation and restoration of the quality of aquatic ecosystems and wetlands.

Expertise in the production of ecocatalysts® and bioinspired molecules

BIOINSPIR capitalizes on the know-how and years of research in scientific ecology of the “Bio-inspired Chemistry and Ecological Innovations” laboratory to transform an abundant biomass into ecocatalysts®.

BIOINSPIR also has the capacity to produce biosourced molecules in its R&D and industrial transfer laboratory.

Our biomass transformation and molecule production capabilities allow us to respond quickly to our customers’ needs.
